My tablet has been lonely. I want to try to be less self-conscious and draw like a little kid again, without caring so much about how stuff looks. If that is even possible.

Shannon, you spoiled me when you got me one before; now I'm all miffed by the presence of ads and the inability to post art on my journal (which I didn't realize I couldn't do until I edited my last entry...and now Sammy is no longer on my front page). My new goal in life is to post more art. Whenever I browse through DA, I fall in love with this place all over again and I want to create something. ... Sammy is one of my favorites. He covers his walls with clocks, hides an inferiority complex that somehow maybe stems from baseball, falls in love too much, and  has an involuntary tendency to imagine his death in almost every situation. Love! Which reminds me, if you have not read Good Country People by Flannery O'Connor, DO SO. Especially if morbid/weird things interest you. If you're at all like me, the ending will amuse you in a way it probably shouldn't. :heart:
